We LOVE a good dessert around here! This dessert has so many terrific things going for it! It has all the deliciousness that many layers of chocolate can bring! It looks fancy, but is simple enough that your kids can help you with it! Plus it makes a nice addition to your party table, or your game night! That’s a lot of wins!
This dessert comes together easily, with just a little bit of time between the layers to cool and set. I’ve made this with layers of milk chocolate and ruby chocolate (other ruby chocolate recipes here) However, you can create your chocolate layers with dark chocolate or white, whatever brings you joy!
Triple Chocolate Spring Flowers
Equipment
- Silicon Muffin Trays Regular and/or Mini sized
Ingredients
- 1 Box Brownie Mix (Egg, Oil & Water needed for mix)
- 2 cups Milk Chocolate Chocolate chips are fine, or bars
- 2 cups Ruby Chocolate chips or bars
- 2 tbsp coconut oil 1 tbsp per chocolate
- Spring Colored M&Ms
Instructions
- Mix together the brownie mix with the oil, egg and water that the brownies require.
- Lightly oil the silicon muffin tray with cooking spray.
- Fill the muffin cups less than 1/2 full. (Leaving room for expansion and chocolate layers)
- Bake brownies @350 for 16-19 minutes. Mini muffin trays would be less time–closer to 13-14 minutes. They should be soft baked, not crispy, so keep an eye on them!
- Allow the brownies to cool
- Melt the 2 cups milk chocolate, add 1 tbsp coconut oil to slightly thin the chocolate.
- Create a medium thin layer of chocolate on each brownie. (Maybe 1/4 of an inch) Allow to set in the refrigerator. (20-30 minutes)
- Create a medium thin layer of Ruby Chocolate. Allow to set for 7 minutes in the fridge, before adding the M&M flower. The chocolate will still be soft, but not liquid.
- Allow desserts to chill for 30 minutes or longer before serving.
