In our family, we celebrate thoroughly birthdays, including birthday breakfast! More often than not, this creamy sweet dessert is requested for part of the line up! Yum! Funny how one person’s birthday becomes a delicious celebration for the whole family! Yum!
We also make homemade wheat waffles topped with strawberries and whipped cream, it’s quite the production. However, the Orange Julius is easy to whip up, so it’s not problem to add in to the celebration.
Orange Julius
Delicious Dessert made with 5 simple ingredients.
Equipment
- 1 Blender
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate or all of the contents of a 12 oz container
- 1 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Sugar Granulated
- 1-2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups Ice Perhaps 30 pieces
Instructions
- Place all of the first 4 ingredients into your blender and blend it up until mixed.
- Add ice! This should be about the same volume of ice as the mix is currently. Blend it up! This will create a thick creamy Julius that might be better with a spoon, but melts quickly. If you want it a bit thinner, add a smidgen more milk, and then you can sip it through a straw!
- Divide this into 4 different cups. We often use mugs, or you can use fancy wine glasses if it is for birthday dinner or a joyful Tuesday!
